My work examines the relationships between order and chance, the fixed and the temporary. I look for moments when architecture, light, shadow, color, and the human figure briefly fall into alignment. Through these moments, I draw attention to the interactions of texture, material, depth, and form.
Much of my work considers the tension between the permanence of the built environment and the fleeting movements that pass through it. I use photography to isolate these temporary arrangements and reveal visual relationships that might otherwise go unnoticed.
